Job Overview Process Creative is an Orange-County based production company looking for a new full-time Video Editor to work in-office. We are a team of producers, directors, cinematographers, strategists, editors, and photographers leading and stewarding vision for brands and individuals from creative development through launch. Our projects vary from commercial work to long-form documentaries, and we are looking for someone excited to join our team.

A successful Video Editor at Process Creative will be patient, detail-oriented, demonstrate good organizational skills, be familiar with all aspects of the production and post-production processes, and possess a keen sense of visual awareness to utilize visuals, rhythm, pace, and tension to effectively tell a story and showcase a product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit creative short-form video content including marketing campaign videos, product spots, documentary shorts, and social media content
  • Collaborate with a team of editors, designers, and post-production managers to carry out creative concepts and meet all requirements
  • Utilize more technical workflows, such as timecode sync, proxy editing, archiving, DaVinci Resolve round-tripping, and a variety of delivery formats
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude
  • Be highly organized and maintain high content quality in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate a good sense of visual awareness as well as timing, pacing, and controlling flow through editing to effectively tell a story and showcase a product


  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder and Photoshop
  • Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Audition, and working off of a shared local server
  • Extensive experience with start-to-finish post-production steps including: organization, story editing, audio mixing, applying color grades, and basic motion graphics
  • Experience editing commercial and documentary work
  • Willingness to learn new software and skills
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Able to take direction well from editorial and post production department
  • Experience in camera, studio lighting, or audio recording a big plus
