Director Seeking Editor

My name is Tyler Strachan and I am a Director and Screenwriter based in Los Angeles currently looking for an Editor to work on my short films, music videos, and music-related content for social media. I am looking for someone who has experience in editing short films, music videos, and social media content, and who can work with a variety of editing softwares. I currently use Final Cut Pro X so it would be great if you use it as well but any software up to industry standard is great.

The projects I have in mind range from drama to comedy to music videos, with running times between 1-5 minutes. Some of the footage has already been shot, but I am looking for someone who can help me take it to the next level with their editing skills.

Ideally, I am looking for an editor who lives in Los Angeles, preferably in North Hollywood, Burbank, Glendale, or Silverlake, and who can travel to and from my creative studio in North Hollywood.

• Must be able to travel to and from my creative space located in North Hollywood on your own
• Must have your own MacBook Pro that can handle and process large amounts of footage
• Must have your own editing program (I.e. Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci, Premiere, After Effects etc.)
• Must be able to edit quicker than me
• Knowledge of color grading footage is a PLUS
• Knowledge of Green Screen is a PLUS
