Seeking Camera Operator for Star Wars-ish action film (1 day)

Short Film
Temp
Gig Location: Los Angeles, CA
Gig Dates: - (EXPIRED)
Pay: $200 for the day

We're seeking a camera operator for a relatively short shoot on Sunday February 12th.

Shoot will be 9 AM to 3:00 PM in the Azusa, CA area. We would want you to arrive at 8:30 to set up any gear etc.

We are looking for someone who has a full frame mirrorless or otherwise relatively compact camera that can ideally shoot 120 FPS at 4K. So something like the Canon R5, or one of the new Sony mirrorless cameras etc. However, if you have a Sony A73 or similar and can only do it at 1080p, please still apply we will definitely consider you.

We're looking for you to have some kind of steadycam rig, ideally with a lens with a stabilizer, but not something that will take hours to set up.

ND filters to ensure the option of a thin depth of field in broad daylight is a plus.

Please have a talent for focus, and capturing action. If you have options for wide or longer (85 ish or 135 mm) lens, that's a plus. If you want a chance to shoot some war-movie style high-shutter content, you've come to the right place.

Lastly, please have a lot of card space to get several shots/ takes at 120 FPS.

There will be food and water of course.

P.S. If you are a fan of Star Wars, and love the outdoors, you will probably have fun. If you hate action movies, you probably shouldn't come.

** FINAL NOTE- We are watching the weather forecast intently. As of now, this day is sunny. If it rains we can't shoot. We can't confirm this shoot date until Friday the 10th. If the forecast is looking rainy on Friday the 10th, we will likely reschedule. We will give you $50 bucks for your trouble at that point. We can work with you at that point if you're still interested in coming on a different day, in which we would then give you the $200 for a not-cancelled shoot day etc.
